This is an oldie but most definitely a goody from the folks over at Wordstream and something that I think anyone new to Google advertising should commit time to reviewing.

In short it provides some simple structure which you can follow when you are optimising your PPC account. Because let’s face it who hasn’t been guilty at one point or another of tinkering aimlessly away in Adwords for hours without a clear plan of attack.
